- Probably the edition advertised in the July 27, 1785, issue of the Essex journal, published by Mycall at Newburyport. The advertisement mentions that "the first half .. being made the most use of, is printed in a larger letter than is usual here .." This edition is printed in that manner.
Relief portrait of Dilworth signed: SG fect. This is probably Samuel Gore (1751-1831), who was resident in Newburyport at this time. A version of this cut, signed "SG," appeared in editions printed for John Boyle of Boston in 1780 and 1781. Those editions may have been printe by Mycall.
