- Advertised in the Massachusetts gazette and Boston news-letter, Nov. 15, 1764, where it is noted that "The late Dr. Nathaniel Ames had finished his calculations for this almanac, and prepared a copy therof, before his death, excepting the eclipses, which, together with the additional part, has since been completed by his son [i.e. Nathaniel Ames, 1741-1822]."
