Note
Attributed to Benjamin West by Evans. However, it is identical in content and typography, except for the author statement, calendar page verses, and the phrasing of the imprint as "printed by", with An astronomical diary, kalendar, or almanack, for 1791, by N. Strong (Hartford: Printed for Nathaniel Patten).

Two states of gathering B noted. In one (the earlier?), leaf B5 recto (signed Bb) begins with "Courts in Vermont."; the verso has "Comical epitaphs." In the other, leaf B5 recto begins with the courts in Grafton, N.H.; the verso has an anecdote beginning "A venerable clergyma .." - Advertised in the American Mercury, Hartford, Nov. 1, 1790.
