Note
Presumably the edition advertised in the Massachusetts gazette and Boston news-letter (Draper), Oct. 29 (supplement), 1767 as in the press, and in the Boston evening post (T. & J. Fleet), the Boston gazette (Edes & Gill) and the Boston post-boy (Green & Russell), all for Nov. 16, as for sale. No other Boston edition for 1768 is known. Drake, 3158, lists one by Kneeland and Adams, but this is not recorded elsewhere, and is doubtless an error for his 3161 (Nathaniel Low). Evans 10540-10541, takes the printer to be William McAlpine, evidently through extrapolation from th McAlpine editions of other years.

Two states of gathering C noted. One (Evans 10541) contains "Save your money, and you save your country" at head of p. [17] and "Vacations at Harvard College" at foot of p. [24]. The other (Evans 10540) contains "A table of the duration of life," on p. 17, and an advertisemen for the paper mill at Milton at foot of p. [24].
