In some copies, at the end of vol. 1, is bound in a printed letter from "W. Cant.", i.e. William Wake, Archbishop of Canterbury, to Wiliam Reading, dated "Nov. 8. 1728".

A two volume continuation: 'Fifty eight sermons preached out of the first lessons of every Sunday in the year, ...' was published in 1730.
