'The secret history of Mack-Beth' and 'The history of the amours of Count Schlick' each have separate titlepage and pagination; the two have the same register, which is separate from that of 'Hypolitus'.

The first two parts translated from the French.

'The amours of Count Schlick' is translated from the Latin of Aeneas Sylvius Piccolomini, Pope Pius II.

Uncontrolled note

'Hypolitus' was reissued in 1711 as 'The memoirs of the court of Scotland', along with the other two parts
