Comus, a mask: (now adapted to the stage) as alter'd from Milton's mask at Ludlow-Castle, which was never represented but on Michaelmas-Day, 1634; before the Rt. Hon. the Earl of Bridgewater, Lord President of Wales. The Principal Performers were The Lord Brackley, Mr. Tho. Egerton, The Lady Alice Egerton. The music was composed by Mr. Henry Lawes, Who also represented the Attendant Spirit.
