The first part contains letters for the years 1753-1761; the second (which has the same title as the first) for the years 1761-1762; the third part contains the letters for the years 1746-1752

Also issued as part of a 5 volume set with collective titlepage to the first volume: 'Oeuvres melees de Madame la marquise de Pompadour, contenant ses memoires ecrits par elle-meme, & ses lettres'

A volume of letters to Madame Pompadour was published in the same year: 'Lettres et réponses ecrites a Madame la Marquise de Pompadour'

Only volumes 1 and 2 are included.
