- D suggests that the headpieces are Irish - verify, for if so, 260 will have to be altered to read London [i.e. Dublin] etc, etc. The headpiece to 'The translator's advertisement' has as centre a face over crossed trumpets; the face is helmeted by a winged helmet. P. [5] headpiece has as centre a seated lady flanked by cherubs. The factotum on the same page contains a wreath springing from a short cut branch
