Calculated according to art and referred to the horizon of the ancient and renowned borrough-town of Stamford (formerly a famous University) whose longitude is 23 deg. 50 minutes, latitude 52 deg. 40 min. fitting all the middle counties of England, and without sensible errour the whole kingdom.
