Note
Actual date of publication from Wing, based on the fact that A2, the separate dated title page for part 1, is dated 1649 and that a reissue of this edition has 1649 on the general title page as well.

"The first sermon upon Hosea ... The second edition enlarged" has separate title page, dated 1649, bound following the general title page. "The third sermon" (caption title) begins new pagination on 2A1; "The fifth sermon" (caption title) begins new pagination on 3A1.

Apparently "The first sermon upon Hosea" (Wing R1251) was never published separately.

Identified as Wing R1251 on UMI microfilm "Early English books, 1641-1700, reel 661.
Uncontrolled note
The NNUT copy, identified as Wing R1251, is lacking general t.p.; since Wing R1258 (dated 1645 [i.e. 1649]) and Wing R1259 (dated 1649) are imprint variants of each other, the NNUT copy could be assigned to either Wing R1258 or R1259, and its placement in this particular record is arbitrary
