Note
Nicholas Culpeper's translation and reworking (with many additions) of the "Pharmacop?a Londinensis".

"Originally published in 1649 under title: A physicall directory, or, A translation of the London dispensatory, made by the College of Physicians in London"--NUC pre-1956 imprints.

Since this edition is not published by Culpeper's publisher, Peter Cole, it may be the "counterfeit impression" mentioned by Culpeper in later editions in which he says, there "are so many gross errors, that I must say though it bear my name, it's none of mine, I do disclaim it".
