A reissue of "The history of the gunpowder-treason" (Wing W2706) and "A vindication of the history of the gunpowerder-treason" (Wing W2741) with a cancel title page for each work. The first cancel is a general title page for the two works. The cancel title pages were printed as a bifolium and then inserted as singletons. Final page of "Vinication" bears contents for both parts.
