The English version is a translation of part of Book I based on the Italian version of Oration Rinaldi, which in turn is a tranlation of the romance originally written in Spanish by Geronimo Fernandez -- cf. NUC pre-1956 imprints.

Title page to second part has "Written by J.S.", i.e. John Shirley; also, attributed to John Shirley by DNB, and formerly attributed by Wing.

"The honour of chivalry: the second and third part: being a continuation of the first part of the history of the renowned prince Don Bellianis of Greece." has a separate dated title page, separate pagination and register.
