The two plates are a portrait of Charleton and an engraving of the "Theatrum Cutlerianum". The engraved portrait is signed: D. Loggan ad vivum delin. et. sculp: 1697.

Although the work was intended to include six pr¾lections, only the following were published: I. Of nutrition; IV. Of life; V. Of fevers; VI. Of motion voluntary.

A reissue, with cancel title page and without order to print, of the edition with "printed by M. White" in imprint.
