- Fisher's authorship is sometimes disputed. Tanner's edition of Wood's "Athen¾," 1721, identifies the author with "Edward Fisher, M.A. of Oxford". According to the DNB "internal evidence completely disproves it".
The words "Evangelista, ... young Christian." in title are gathered by a left hand brace.
With marginal notes.
This edition has been partially reset. The text from p. 121 onwards is a different setting. This edition: p. 121, line 5 has "beleeve", line 12 has "firme" and signature K is below the "e " of "those "; Cf. R25401 another edition which has "believe", "firm" and K below the "th" of "those".
