Note
The words "Prayer. ... Preaching." are bracketed together on title page.

"Of the gift of prayer", "Of the gift and duty of singing to God", and "Of the office and duty of preaching" each have separate title page dated 1678; pagination and register are continuous.

Leaves b3 and 4F1 are cancels.

A reissue, with cancel general title page, of the 1678 edition (Wing W1506). Leaf b4 is cancelled; 2C3 is cancelled by a bifolium bearing dedication and cancel title page.
Uncontrolled note
It seems clear that there never was a true "second edition" of this work with those words printed on the title page as indicated in Wing W1507. There appears to be only the original issue of 1678 and the reissue of 1679 (Wing W1507A). Verify that this assumption is true. See E.R.McC. Dix. List of books ... printed in Dublin ... Part IV. 1676 to 1700, p. 165, 169
