Constitutes part 1 of "The history of independency". Issued as part of W324, possibly as part of W324A, and possibly separately.
"An appendix to The history of independency" has separate dated title page and pagination; register is continuous (its title page is Z3 and its first leaf of text is Z4; page 3 is signed 2A[1]). It is unlikely that it was ever issued separately in this setting of type.
The two parts were previously published separately in 1647 and 1648 respectively.
