Innovations of popery in the Church of Rome, calling for repentance and reformation; being as a wall of separation between Christians and Christians. Wherein is shewed, that the mystery of iniquity, Sodom and Egypt spiritual, Babylon the great, and the mother of harlots and great whore, are all founded in innovations. Given forth partly to stir up our thankfulness to God for his former mercies to this nation in delivering it from the horrid popish thraldom and ignorance; and for his preserving it at this time from the impending storm that threatned [sic] us: partly also to help to establish those that are wavering in their minds towards it: and to encourage those that are under it, who truly fear God, in expectation of deliverance from under it. By one that loves all that fear the Lord, and love truth and righteousness in their hearts, wheresoever they are found. W.T.
