'The description and use of an ordinary joynt-rule' has a separate titlepage, dated 1675, and separate register and pagination.

The first part has caption title on p.1: 'The description of the five orders of architecture' and includes 40 numbered plates.

The 'addition of stair-cases and chimney-pieces' has a separate titlepage, dated 1670, entitled: 'The ground-rules of architecture, collected from the best authors .. by .. Sir Henry Wotton, in his Elements of architecture. ..'. The register and pagination are separate.
