Center of title has cut of city of Chester, with angels above the city holding a shield with city arms; cut lacking: May 10 and May 17, 1732.

Extended titles vary; earlier issues read in part: "being a collection of the most material news both forreign and domestick"; from May 1732, extended title reads: "with the freshest advices both foreign and domestick".

Later issues have note below date line: "This establish'd paper is carry'd through nine counties, and some thousands are sold weekly; so people may consider the advantage of advertising in it."

Imprint from colophon; imprint lacks date. Imprints vary; issues before May 1724 read in part: 'printed by and for Wm. cooke, and for H. Anyon, J. Munks and are to be sold ... in Liverpool'.
