- The first seven volumes of this set were compiled by Rollin before his death; v.8 was "Revised, since the death of the author" by Crevier; v.9 was "Revised, and compleated by Mr. Crevier"; vols. 10 through 16 "and last" were written by Crevier. In this edition the booksellers remain the same, with the addition of A[lexander] Ewing to the imprint in vols. 10-16; some vols. are printed by S. Powell or A. Reilly.
Dates for the volumes are in sequence: the first 3 appearing in 1740, the last 2 in 1750.
