The imprint to this part of 'The modern husbandman' lacks a date, but Mary Cooper succeeded her late husband in his printing business about 1743 (Plomer). - 'The modern husbandman' was published both in parts and in various multi-volume editions; a complete edition dated London, 1745 has not been identified in reference sources (see Hanson; and Fussell: Old English farming books, 1523-1793, pp.6-12)
