'The life of the country-jilt' is a translation of 'La p'cara Justina', which is sometimes attributed to Francisco L-pez de Ubeda and to Andrés Pérez de Le-n; 'The town-bawd' is by Fernando de Rojas; 'The life and extravagant actions of Estevanillo Gonzales' is a translation of 'Vida y hechos de Estevanillo Gonzalés', which is attributed to Gonzalés; and 'An evenings adventures' is an adaptation of a play by Juan de Avila.
