Meditations and observations upon the eleventh and twelfth verses of the sixth chapter of Solomon's song. Written, if the Lord please, for the encouragement of the saints, when under seeming contrary providences, to faithful promises. To which are added, motives offer'd to the consideration of a believer, to deter him from sin. Cavses of sinful anger: to be watch'd against by all that are Christ's, who would crucify the flesh, with the affections thereof. The guilt of a believer's departing from God. And some thoughts about sin and holiness: propos'd to the consideration of the dear saints. By a sinner sav'd to be an heir of heaven, that deserves to be a firebrand of hell
