EWING (GEORGE and ALEXANDER), printers and booksellers in Dublin, 1746–64. George took Alexander into partnership and they carried on business at the "Angel & Bible" in Dame Street. They printed Doyne's version in English of Tasso's Delivery of Jerusalem. George died first and his will was proved in the Prerogative Court in 1764. He is described as a bookseller. Then Alexander (alone) continued in 1764, but died that or the next year. His will is proved in 1765 in the Prerogative Court at Dublin.
