From "Rich's glory, or, His triumphant entry into Covent-Garden." Rich is shown in a carriage drawn by six satyrs as Harlequin with Columbine and a spotted dog (a disguise worn by Harlequin as played by Rich in "Perseus and Andromeda," 1730). The print is a satire on John Rich removing from Lincoln's Inn Fields theatre (where John Gay's play The Beggar's Opera had, the saying went, "made Rich gay and Gay Rich") to his new theatre in Covent Garden. John Gay is shown carried on a porter's back and entering the colonnade of the Great Piazza.
