FIELD (THOMAS), bookseller and publisher in London, (1) near St. Paul's; (2) at the White-sheaf the corner of Paternoster Row, Cheapside, 1755 (?)–75 (?). Publisher for the Nonconformists. The second imprint is found in Richard Baxter's Causes and Danger of slighting Christ, 1765. In 1775 he published, with the Fullers and C. Rivington, An Exposition of the Old and New Testament. [Public Advertiser, January 12th, 1775.] Issued a trade card engraved by F. Garden, with bill on back dated 1760. [A. Heal's Collection.]
