VARNAM (THOMAS), bookseller in London, Lombard Street, 1711–25(?). Was a nephew of John and Thomas Guy, and is mentioned in the will of the former. In partnership with J. Osborne he succeeded to Thomas Guy's business in Lombard Street, and his name is first found in the Term Catalogue of Easter 1711. [T.C. III. 675.] He subscribed to Walker's Sufferings of the Clergy in 1714.
