BURLEIGH (FERDINAND), bookseller in London, Amen Corner, 1713–15. Publisher of Steele's Englishman and also of A Letter to a Member of Parliament, in 1714. Nichols records that Burleigh sold a periodical called The Balm of Gilead, which was printed by J. Mayo. [Lit. Anecd., viil. 494.]
