TEBB (THOMAS), bookseller in London, Duck Lane, near Little Britain, 1708–15. In the Daily Courant for November 10th, 1707, Tebb advertised an edition of Lilly's Grammar, and in 1708 he published for John Jackson a translation of Aesop, with cuts from the Frankfort edition. [T.C. III. 597.] Hazlitt [l. 5] records a book with his imprint, dated 1715.
