CREAKE (B[EZALEEL]), bookseller and publisher, the Bible, Jermyn Street, 1726–8. Publisher of a work on Epitaphs, which was issued in Monthly parts under the title of Sepulchrorum Inscriptiones in 1726. [W.M.C. April to September]. There is an advertisement of his selling Diamonds cut Diamonds, fifty-two songs by Mr. Carey, in the London Journal of February 12th, 1726. In 1728 he published Dr. Alex Innes’s theft of Dr. A Campbell’s Enquiry into the Original of Moral Virtue. [W.M.C. February.] And also a History of Scotland with J. Cluer (Daily Post, January 1st], and Arithemetic in all its Parts with J. Hazard [Daily Journal, January 3rd.]
